B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
Admission to the programme shall be for the benefit of students who passed 12th from UP Board/CBSE/ICSE, etc., admitted in the B.Tech programme during the academic session 2016-17 and onwards.
Admission shall be based on the merit of the UPSEE examination conducted by AKTU Lucknow through counselling. Students begin their academic journey in the first and second semesters of the B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering programme.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the widest and most versatile engineering professions. It is concerned with the development of products, processes, and power—whether at the molecular scale or in large-scale, complex systems.
Mechanical engineering principles and skills are required during the conception, design, development, and manufacture of every human-made object with moving parts. Many innovations essential to modern life have their roots in the study of mass, motion, forces, and energy—the world of mechanical engineers.
